Just talked to two art majors in a row who don’t think SPU has a good art department. 1 who is transferring next quarter to an art school on the East coast and keeps telling me I should go too. My Imaginative Writing prof
is young. And very emotionally aware. I can tell she is not afraid to think deeply into the “abstracts”. She says we have a 6th sense, the sense that tells us when someone is in the room with us, a metaphysical sense, a spiritual sense. She doesn’t sound loopy when she speaks about these things, she sounds profound and confident and eloquent.
